American Indian Dogs with Jobs

Scott and Iilanda Englesby have done just about everything there is to do, with a dog. Here are their dogs, Trixie and Oorah surfing, at Dana Point, Ca. Coydo is at home in both the water and the snow. Here he is sailing, and hiking in the Alps.

There are three AIDogs on the dogsled team at the bottom left. They may be smaller than other mushing dogs, but they are extremely strong, surprising all the competition. Waiting for the race in Burns, Oregon (middle) are Barb and Brian Gaskel’s dog team. The team, on the right has two AIDogs. This picture is from the 75 mile Chemult Oregon race 2007.
